The year's 15 most in-demand Portland-area neighborhoods based on home sales might surprise you - OregonLive

Despite a cooling real estate market, homes in some Portland metro areas are selling more quickly than others, particularly compared with the number of listings available.

Using data from the Regional Multiple Listing Service, we compared the number of residential properties on the market at the beginning of each of the first three quarters of 2019 with the number sold during the previous three months to determine the 15 most in-demand neighborhoods so far this year.

These neighborhoods are in urban and suburban locales.

Visit our Portland metro real estate dashboard for a glimpse into the many neighborhoods that make up Portland's real estate market.
